Following the trend we changed the mounting distance on the R2 model to 195mm mounting distance. We also added a torsion bar in order to resist the higher impact that appears on shells featuring the longer mounting distance. The R2 2008 has not been changed in general in terms of construction and fit from older models. The design is new and fresh. In other words – we improved our best seller. The R2 is a skate with a very good fit and a top price-value ratio. The boot comes with an „old school“ cut in the back. It gives speed beginners a better support in the ankle area. The neoprene/Lorino™ lining and the little wider last making the boot very comfortable without loosing performance. More than 90% of all skaters that tried the R2 feel well from the very first beginning. The boot is ready to skate from the first minute! Our R-series is heat moldable although we use a composite shell construction. Please pay attention to the heating instructions that have been given in our FAQ´s page.
